The Baking Career Path is a unique technical training program which benefits you by:

And all without requiring excessive time away from your current job!

Each of the three Baking Career Path options combines the flexibility of a self-paced distance learning program with the one-on-one attention and hands-on experience of classroom instruction and labs.

How does it work?

Step 1 Choose a Career Path track:

  • Bread and Rolls 
  • Cake and Sweet Goods 
  • Cookies and Crackers 

Step 2 Fill out the application.

Step 3 Enroll in the Science of Baking distance learning course. Students enrolled in the Bread and Roll track and the Cookies and Crackers track take modules 1, 2, and 3. Students who are enrolled in the Cake and Sweet Goods track take modules 1, 2, and 4.

You do not have to complete this course before attending seminars. However, our instructors recommend that students with little or no baking experience finish this course before attending career path seminars. 

Step 4 Enroll in Foundations: Ingredient Testing Techniques and track-based seminars as suits your schedule over the course of your three-year enrollment. 

Bread and Rolls Track students complete:

You are allowed three years from the initial date of enrollment to finish the entire program.
