Grain Milling HACCP Workshop

Explore key elements of FSMA specifically related to the grain processing and milling industries.

AIB International has joined forces with the International Grains Program and the Kansas State University Department of Grain Science and Industry to present the Grain Milling HACCP Workshop. This course explores key elements of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) related to the flour milling process. The team of expert instructors will cover essential prerequisite programs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety hazards associated with cereal grains, then dive into a step-by-step process to developing, implementing, and managing a HACCP program. Supervisors and managers in grain milling operations will benefit greatly from this practical, hands-on approach to HACCP. Accredited by the International HACCP Alliance.

After this seminar you'll know how to:

  • Identify common sanitary design flaws in mills and make recommendations for correction
  • Prepare your company to comply with Food Safety Modernization Act regulations
  • Control food safety hazards in the milling industry using key prerequisite programs
  • Apply the 12 steps of Codex to a grain milling operation to create a HACCP plan
