We’ve made extensive changes to our software and now are ready to provide nutrition information based on the new regulations. If you aren’t quite ready to move to the new regulations we can still provide information under the previous regulations. While FDA label compliance is necessary -- it's not as daunting as you may think, our experts are here to help.

In addition to lab testing, AIB performs highly accurate database calculations of nutritional information. Read on to learn more about all of AIB’s food labeling options!

Nutrition Database

AIB utilizes a proprietary database that was developed based on our specifications. All information added to the database is thoroughly reviewed by one of our Food Labeling Professionals. Any discrepancies in the nutrition and/or ingredient information is addressed with the manufacturer or supplier of the ingredient.

Nutrition Facts Report

If you already have the blank formats for the Nutrition Facts tables, we can provide the values that you need for each of your packages. We will determine the correct serving size for your product and provide the nutrient amounts and percent daily values which have been rounded in compliance with government regulations.

Examples (additional nutrients are available): U.S. - Previous Regulations, U.S - For 2018/2019 Compliance

Camera Ready Graphic

Utilizing the information from the Nutrition Facts Report or from a 100g report from your own computations or lab analysis, along with information about your package shape and size, we will develop a formatted Nutrition Facts Panel that is ready for placement on your package label.

100g Nutrition Report

Sometimes you just need the basic nutrition profile of your food. We offer a standard report of nutrients (unrounded per 100g) that you can use to develop your own nutrition panels for food packages or to send to customers who use your food as an ingredient in their products.

Ingredients and Allergens

Along with the nutrient values, AIB tracks the sub-ingredients and allergens contained in the ingredients you use. This information is added to our database only after a thorough technical review by one of our Food Labeling Professionals to ensure that the proper wording is used and that the information is consistent for the ingredient.

Using the formula for your food product, we can easily provide a listing of all of the ingredients and sub-ingredients in your food in decreasing order of predominance. In addition, major food allergens are flagged and a final list is produced to send to the client.

Nutrified Labels

AIB has been the labeling partner for thousands of food companies over the years. Our newly updated software system, Nutrified Labels, helps our labeling experts quickly

calculate the nutrition information for your products and efficiently compiles a compliant ingredient listing for placing into your label. It's our biggest resource to date!

After you send in the data for your ingredients, our team inputs the information into Nutritified Labels to verify accuracy and compliance. From there, various reports can be generated including print-ready Nutrition Facts graphics. With Nutrified Labels, you can be completely confident that the information you are receiving is regulatory compliant. Simplify your workflow processes and let AIB Food Labeling experts and Nutrified Labels do the hard work for you.

Note:

Under the FDA’s recently released updates to nutrition labeling, not all values can be determined through analytical testing. For example, added sugars and non-digestible carbohydrates that don’t meet FDA’s definition of dietary fiber cannot be differentiated from the naturally occurring form of the nutrient.

With analytical testing you can verify the total amount of these nutrients in your food, but the determination of the source of these nutrients has to be done through formula and ingredient specification evaluations.
