Maintain food protection throughout storage and distribution with programs that prevent food contamination.

Every food plant has a receiving and distribution warehouse. The Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requires that personnel who manage and work in food warehouse and distribution facilities have food safety training. This applies to all facilities not exempt from preventive control requirements. Make sure you’re prepared when regulatory personnel and customers visit your facility. Challenge your understanding of key issues, develop practical solutions, and arm yourself with confidence that your programs meet current requirements.

After this seminar you’ll know how to:

  • Develop and implement sanitation programs
  • Implement corrective actions for recognized and potential pest issues and food defense vulnerabilities
  • Design and implement receiving programs that cover key concerns
  • Devise a storage program for allergens

Upon succesful completion of this course you will receive 1.3 IACET continuing education units.
